At Ad Astra Infant School, we aim to ensure that all children attend school whenever they could possibly do so. We have a dedicated Medical Officer to ensure high quality care for our pupils.

The School Nursing Team can help parents with healthy eating, weight management, day/night time wetting, toileting, sleep, hearing, behaviour, emotional health, wellbeing and more via their text services. Please see below for more information:

‘ParentLine 5-19’ for children aged from 5 to 19

Monday to Friday 9am-4pm during term times, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. Text query to 07312 263131.

‘ChatHealth 11-19’

Young people aged 11-19 can also seek advice for themselves from a School Nurse via the ‘ChatHealth 11-19’ text messaging service by texting their query to 07480635511. ‘ChatHealth 11-19’ runs from Monday to Friday from 08:30am until 4:30pm, excluding bank holidays and school holidays.
